The Parker Centre generates research outputs that maximise returns from hydrometallurgical processing of mineral resources and reduce environmental impacts of hydrometallurgical processes. Hydrometallurgical processes utilise aqueous solutions to extract metals and metallic compounds such as alumina, gold, nickel, copper and zinc from minerals.
